| I know someone in heaven... |
| We have a very sweet friend named Mary Gumfory that did the beautiful casket spray for Chelsea's casket, as well as some of the other flowers for the funeral. She is a family friend and excellent at what she does. She and her mother came to the hospital the night that Chelsea passed away and stayed for a while. While Mary was talking with her mother about Chelsea at home one night, her 2 daughters overheard them. The older of the two girls came in and wanted to know what had happened, deciding to tell her as much as she deemed appropriate, Mary explained to her little girl that Chelsea had gone to Heaven to live with Jesus. The following Sunday, during church, the girls' Sunday school teacher was discussing Heaven. The older of the two girls' raised her hand and stated "I already know someone in Heaven." When she told me this story it touched my heart, her girls had never before met Chelsea, but they knew enough to know that she was there and would be watching. |
